Science
The principal focus of science teaching in Year 6 is to enable pupils to develop a deeper understanding of a wide range of scientific ideas. Engaging in hands-on investigative science activities to promote a deep understanding of scientific concepts, we aim to support pupils to develop effective methods of scientific enquiry; talk about their ideas and ask their own questions about scientific phenomena; analyse functions, relationships and interactions more systematically.
