Orchard Nursery Curriculum

  • Development Matters 2021 Development Matters is for all early years practitioners, for childminders and staff in nurseries, nursery schools, and nursery and reception classes in school. It offers a top-level view of how children develop and learn and builds on their strengths while meeting the needs of all children. The curriculum consists of everything you want children to experience, learn and be able to do.

Curriculum Overviews

Please familiarise yourselves with your child's termly curriculum overview. This will help you to support their learning, facilitate home learning and inform activities and visits you may wish to undertake to supplement learning carried out in school. The overview is designed to let you know what specific elements of subject areas are being taught in each specific term. If you have any queries about them please do not hesitate to ask teaching staff.
