Earth Verse (Autumn: Poetry and Non-Fiction)

As part of the theme ‘Discover Asia’, Year 6 studied the book, Earth Verse: Haiku from the Group Up, by Sally M. Walker. Using the book as inspiration, Year 6 wrote a haiku poem about a natural event, including technical vocabulary and poetic imagery. In addition to this, they wrote a short information text about a natural event.
