Anatomy (Autumn: Non-Fiction)
Inspired by the clever cutouts in Anatomy: A Cutaway Look Inside the Human Body by Hélène Druvert, Year 6 consolidated their scientific learning by creating a page for an information text (complete with diagrams, lift-up flaps and captivating cutouts) to describe the circulatory system. In addition to this, Year 6 wrote an information text in the style of the model text, Anatomy, which clearly taught the reader about a topic of their independent choice.
