Orchestra (Y2-Y6)
Shiphay Learning Academy Orchestra is open to pupils who already have some knowledge of playing a musical instrument or to any pupil who has an interest in joining the percussion section of the orchestra. Orchestra is a fantastic opportunity for children to develop their instrumental skills and learn to play as part of an ensemble and new members are always welcome. The rehearsals this term will take place on:
September 13th and 20th
October 4th, 11th and 18th
November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th
December 6th
Rehearsals will take place in the Lunch Club room between 3:15pm and 4:15pm.
This term we will be working towards performances at the Christmas Fair and Christmas Performances. In addition to this, there will be opportunities for the children to perform in school assemblies.
