Journey of an Artist- Spring Term 2020

The boys and girls in Year 2 spent this half term thinking about the artist Andy Goldsworthy and how he creats sculptures using natural materials. They explored texture using block painting, created their own big pieces of art with natural materials, made rubbings of natural materials and created textures in playdough. The children were very excited to make dragons with air drying clay as their final outcome for their Journey of an Artist. What great sculpting skills!
