STEM Club (Y3-4)

Shiphay Learning Academy STEM Club

STEM Club is an out-of-timetable sessions that enriches and broadens the curriculum, giving young people the chance to explore subjects like science, technology, engineering and maths in less formal settings. The club is an important outlet to ignite new interest and to raise attainment in STEM subjects through more imaginative and inventive teaching methods. We will have a weekly focus that will involve the children applying investigative skills often with a physical experiment of some sort.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) club will take place on a Tuesday between 3.15pm and 4.15pm in Sycamore Classroom (other spaces maybe used as required). Children will be brought to the top playground gate at 4.15pm to be collected or to the hub. The club will start on the 10th of January.

If your child would like to attend the club, please complete the below Google Form by 12pm on Wednesday 4th January. If the club is oversubscribed, names will be placed in a hat. You will be informed whether or not your child has a place on Friday.

Many thanks,
Mr. Nutbeam
