Performing Arts is a club open to all pupils in Years 3-6 with an interest in singing, acting, dancing and performing.  We perform regularly at school and Torbay events throughout the year and already have some key dates in the diary for 2024/25. 

Our first introductory rehearsal this term will be on Thursday 19th September. There will be no rehearsal on Thursday 26th September due to being away on Y6 residential, but the club will resume as normal the week after and will run up to Christmas.  The group will meet in the Hall  between 3:15pm and 4:30pm and pupils can be collected from the Main Reception gate at the end of rehearsals.  This first rehearsal will be a chance for us to get to know the children and the range of talents and skills they bring with them.  We can then use this information to choose the right Christmas production to fit the skills of the group.  Our project this term will be to begin preparing for Young Voices (more information to follow) in the New Year, our Christmas Production and for other festive events. Our core days are Thursdays, but there may be some Tuesday dates added closer to any performances. 

If your child would like to attend the club, please complete the below Google Form by 12pm on Wednesday the 18th of September. There is no limit on the number of children who can join so once you have signed your child up they are automatically added to the register. No confirmation email will be sent out.
