Shiphay Learning Academy Forest Club

Reception Eco-Forest School – Thurdays’ from 3:30-4:15pm

Mr Dolman and Mrs Wanostrocht will be starting an Eco/Forest Schools Club that will be open to all members of Reception. It will run during the first half of Spring term, starting Thursday 12th January 2023.  Activities will take place in the vicinity of the bird hide and wildlife area at the bottom of the bank from 3.15pm to 4.15pm.

The dates for these sessions are as follows: 

Thursday 12th, 19th, 26th January and 2nd February

Also, it will run during the second half of Spring Term (separate Google Form), starting Thursday 2nd March.  Activities will take place in the vicinity of the bird hide and wildlife area at the bottom of the bank from 3.15pm to 4.15pm.

The dates for these sessions are as follows: 

Thursday 2nd, 9th, 16th  and 23rd March

Some of the activities that will be covered include:

·        Survival skills (Drinking hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows

·        Outdoor Crafts

·        Looking after the school environment

·        Wild life studies

If your child would like to attend the club, please complete the below Google Form by 12pm on Thursday the 15th of December.  If the club is oversubscribed positions will be assigned on a first come first served basis.   You will be informed whether or not your child has a place on Thursday.
