Shiphay Learning Academy Film Club

We are delighted to inform you that we will once again be running a film club through a programme called
Into Film, for children from Year 3 to 6. A film club is a fun and exciting way for young people to watch, discuss
and review films. It’s also a great environment where your child can grow, gain confidence, and
engage better in their day-today learning and development. Into Film puts film at the heart of children and young people’s educational, cultural and personal development. 
The films shown in our film club will be suitable for your children’s age. However, from time to time we
may choose to show a higher certification than your child’s age group, that we deem suitable and
appropriate, for example, a PG rating. For more details, visit www.bbfc.co.uk.

Film Club will be run in Robin classroom by Mrs Thomas on Tuesdays from 3.15pm until 4.15pm and
will run Spring Term 1 from Tuesday 10th January to Tuesday 7th February and Spring Term 2 from Tuesday 28th February to Tuesday 28th March.  Pick up will be from the top school gate.

If your child would like to attend the club, please complete the below Google Form by 12pm on Thursday 15th December . If the club is oversubscribed, names will be placed in a hat. You will be informed via letter if your child has gained a space by the 16th December.
