E-Safety

Here at Shiphay Learning Academy we take E-safety very seriously. In Year 2 we are learning to stay safe online by learning about the following;

Meet Berty our Be-Safe Bee, our E-safety mascot!

Purple Mash

Purple Mash is an online tool that has lots of great resources. You can use it to make digital content such as documents, cards and letters. There are lots of Maths games you can have a go at and it is even super for computing. Below are some guides to explain how to log on and how to open and save work.

An Hour of Code

Do you want to access what we did in our computing lesson? Here's how ...

1) Open your search engine and search for 'an hour of code'

2) Open the page and then click on 'Activities', then 'Grades 2-5'

3) Half way down the page you'll see the Angry Birds image and 'Write Your First Computer Program.'

4) Remember - you can go straight to any level you want - you don't have to start at the beginning again!

WHY NOT TRY SOME OF THE OTHERS? THEY ALL WORK THE SAME WAY AND ARE FULL OF CHALLENGES!
