Governor Recruitment

Do You Want to Give Something Back to Your Community?

One of the most rewarding ways to do this is to become an Academy Governor or Trustee. We have a fantastic Governing Body made up of a range of people who enjoy being involved and making a difference.

We will soon be advertising for new governors to aid us in our constant aspiration to do the very best for all our pupils and their families.

Being a governor in an Academy is different than in a Council school as we have complete responsibility for all aspects of the organisation including finance, HR, standards, pupil welfare and the site and buildings.  We need people who have the skills that will help us to be the best that we can be.

Importantly we also need people who are committed to helping

our community but most of all we need people with great common sense, are interested in what is best for all our children, are commitment to our Academy and who are prepared to devote some of their time to meet and be trained and are passionate about giving all our children the very best chances in life.

If you are interested, look out for the flier after Half-Term when the selection process will begin with an informal chat with the Headteacher and Chair of Governors to explain the role and answer any questions.
